Our Core Values
Jesus is life. Jesus Christ alone is our hope, and the only real and lasting hope for the world (John 14:6).
Following Jesus is a growing experience. As modern day disciples of Jesus Christ we are called to move from spiritual infancy to spiritual maturity (Phil. 3:13-14, Eph. 4:12-14). We strive to bring people into an ever-growing relationship with Jesus Christ. As we grow in faith, we turn our hearts to God, giving of ourselves freely and cheerfully.
We are one body, united in Jesus Christ. We are a church of individuals, different in many ways, yet called together by God to be one in mission. (John 17:20-23).
The Bible
God decided to write a love letter to His children, and that's how we got the Bible. It consists of 66 books that all point to God's eternal plan of redemption for His people. "All Scripture is God-breathed." (2 Tim. 3:16) In other words, Scripture did not originate with man. It came directly from the Lord, and therefore it can be completely trusted.
Humanity
God created man as a perfect being, but then Adam and Eve sinned in the Garden of Eden. This has really messed with our internal "wiring." It causes man to turn away from his Creator and to do things that are contrary to God's will for man. Sin is indeed man's biggest problem, but thankfully God provided an answer for our problem.
Eternity
This big rotating ball we live on is called "earth." And as you look into outer space, you are essentially looking into eternity. One day, every human being will be in either heaven or hell. Those are the only two places available to man when he leaves earth. And "God wants everyone to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth." (1 Tim. 2:4)
